US Natural Gas Exports Reach New Heights
American LNG facilities operating at maximum capacity as European demand remains elevated.
United States liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals are running at near-maximum utilization rates as European buyers continue to seek alternatives to Russian pipeline gas. February 2026 exports are on track to exceed 13 billion cubic feet per day.
Infrastructure Expansion
Several new LNG export facilities along the Gulf Coast are scheduled to come online in late 2026 and early 2027, which will further boost American export capacity. The Plaquemines LNG project in Louisiana is the largest under construction.
